Day 3 Thu 24 Feb 11 Highland Park

sunny 40 °C

With the folks, we had breakfast in a cafe they'd scoped out before we arrived, that accepted dogs, in Nambucca. We saw people with take away coffees sitting at council benches with their dogs because they weren't accepted. Seems like those cafes missed out on additional business since you can hardly take away a decent breakfast, so settle for a coffee and the cafe misses out on the added sales.
Drove into Coffs Harbour. The Engine Warning light went off. Into BCF for pole to drop down table in caravan (which they cut down to size for us-unfortunately later found out pole too slim for purpose) and next door to Petbarn (pet shop) for Halti collars and leads 4 the boys. Drove to the beach for a break. Puppies had a walk whilst the Crusties (Jim's Dad & stepmum) had a sit down at the beach.
Back to the house, and Misch and I took all the dogs for a late walk after dinner.
In the middle of the night Tank, sleeping on my second pillow, rolled over and fell half out the bed rolling off and half out the canvas of the caravan.

Cafe's loss eh! What's up with this warning light thing that's happening . . . .is it a funny connection and nothing to worry about or something more???? Walking the dogs and sitting on the beach is a great way to spend some time I reckon .. . .Tank sounds like our Maddy - lovels to steal the pillow when she gets the chance . . your gotta love em . . .getting closer to us :)
