The good and the bay but no ugly except the toads!

Again woke up at 6am, took the boys out for a quick pee whilst Jimmi made 1st coffee of the day. Loving the Twist (portable handheld coffee maker - add grounds into basket, add hot water into chamber, hold down trigger and powered by soda bulb in handle, hot water forced through the grounds and ta da, espresso coffee!). Jimmi made milk (no lactose variety) in milk frother machine, and lattes to start the day.
It showered whilst I caught up on the blog and Jimmi nodded off a couple of times. By 6.50pm the drizzle had stopped and the birds woke up. Much chirping!
Planning to have a nap when Jimmi takes the Jeep in this morning and when he's back he says he'll come for a walk with the boys and I. Don't think he's figuring on the 45mins we usually go for. Jimmi's not so big on exercise.
Third morning of bacon, eggs and toast! YIPPEE!!
So much for having a nap whilst Jimmi was out. Starting a blog page and filling in on all the days we've done so far from my notes took longer than I expected!!
Jimmi came back and we walked around the lake which is next to the river! There were some sheep is the little paddock near the houses! No fences. A little past the sheep we let the boys off for a run and an explore until we got close to the Motel neighbours and to respect their privacy we put them back on leads until we were passed their property, then back to free puppies! What a joy to watch scamper and run and play.
They were muddy and grassy and very hot, because of all the play and high humidy, so we washed them down and sat outside with them until they dried off enough to come in for a nap. FINALLY my nap!
Waking up at 1.30pm, we caffinated and then Jimmi wanted to go to Bunnings for replacement hose fittings and some chain for locking up items other than the generator, which came with its own! Since it was just down the road we figured it wasn't far.
It took 25 mins to walk to Bunnings! The sky had cleared up but the humidity was still high so all of us were pretty shaggednwhen we got there. The boys and I waited outside for Jim. He organised for water for the boys and I said I could wait until he was coming out for a drink. Silly me - half an hour later he emerges. I'd been talking to two ladies from Bunnings on their breaks for 25mins so I suppose it wasn't too bad.
Got a phone call from an old friend and colleague at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and catching up took 22 of the 25 mins return walk! Good to catch up with Nicky, she's a great gal, a keeper. I foolishly mentioned to her about the Jeep and getting stuck in Lismore for a week and to come rescue us if that happens! Be careful of what you think about, it's what you attract.
At about 4pm Jimmi calls Michael at Northern Rivers Chrysler dealer and gets the good news, they know what's wrong with the engine light warning, bad news it requires parts. Good news its covered under warranty, bad news the parts wont be in till next week. Ahh Haa stuck in Lismore. Don't get me wrong, from the brief stop at Woolworths for groceries last night and the walk up and down a couple of blocks, driving through to the dealership - Lismore seems like a nice place although they have an obsession with roundabouts. There's lots of them!
Jimmi called Jeep Assist and updated them on the situation so far and what do we do without a car since the dealership can't loan a car for as long as we'll need one and they were helpful in providing contacts for Jeep Customer Service. Unfortunately their 1300 number isn't accessible from mobile phone, so the recording says. Since we're in an older caravan park ther just so happens to be pay phones! Jimmi left a message since it was after 5pm by now and we lok forward to organising a loaner car so we can day trip or at least do shopping.
